Social media policy

Sailors' Society's social media policy: We really value our followers' engagement and very much welcome considerate discussion on our social platforms and posts. However, please note that we will not tolerate offensive or abusive language on our social pages or groups. If a post or comment contains unacceptable language or if a user behaves in an inappropriate way then we will request that the post is rephrased and/or possibly remove or hide the comment. If a user continues to behave in an unacceptable way and/or repeatedly posts offensive or abusive comments, we will take steps to remove the user from our platforms and/or page.
