Helpline

Here for seafarers day and night

Our 24/7 confidential helpline offers care and support to seafarers and their families across the globe.

Seafarers leave their homes and loved ones for months, even years, at a time. They miss births and Christmases, first steps and funerals. They work long shifts and spend 24 hours a day with the same small group of colleagues – sometimes on the opposite side of a war back home.

Violent storms, accidents and pirate attacks, alongside isolation, shift work, and anxiety about family back home can take a harsh toll on seafarers’ mental health.

They need to talk and they need someone to listen.

We offer a seafarer-focused counselling service that’s available 24/7.

On the end of the phone is someone who can talk to them, often in their first language. Someone who can listen, offer advice, refer to other support services and help them contact family and support them through times of personal crisis.

From relationship problems to health or money worries, we're here to help.
