A personal lifeline for seafarers
We help keep seafarers and loved ones in touch during the long months apart and liaise with families if a seafarer falls ill or is in trouble. We also build storm-proof houses, medical centres and classrooms and provide educational grants.
Our chaplains and volunteers visit crews on board ships offering everything from a friendly ear to transport into town. In the port of Deendayal in India we have also provided free ear and eye testing equipment for seafarers to access.
Our groundbreaking Wellness at Sea training programme and new Wellness App helps equip seafarers for a life at sea focusing on five key areas of wellness, namely spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual and social wellbeing.
