Walking for Seafarers

Last week, Skuld employees around the world walked more than 19 million steps to raise awareness and show support for seafarers. The marine insurer has since made a donation to maritime welfare charity Sailors’ Society.

Ståle Hansen, President and CEO, Skuld, said: “We have seen incredible internal engagement during #SkuldWalkingForSeafarers, collectively counting over 19 million steps for the week. Together we have raised awareness and funds for this important cause, whilst also supporting UN SDG 3 ‘Good health and wellbeing’. We chose Sailors’ Society as recipient of our funds for their invaluable efforts in providing support for seafarers and their families in desperate need.”
