A week of a chaplain's time visiting seafarers and their families

A chaplain's week can be very varied. They will undertake a range of activities, from going on board ships to taking seafarers into town, or even visiting a seafarer's family if they need support.

Pictured here is Peter Donald, who works in the ports of Montrose and Dundee. Just recently he took time away from the port to visit a family nearby who Sailors' Society had helped. The seafarer was a German captain who had been unable to work for nearly a year, but is now back on his ship.
