Gift Aid

Whether making a single or one off gift or giving regularly, the Sailors' Society can claim the tax back through Gift Aid.

Gift Aid means that for every £1 you give the Society can claim 28 pence from the Inland Revenue. This means that your donation of £10 can be turned into £12.80. To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax on any form of income must at least equal the amount that we claim on your behalf in a tax year.

In Memoriam

For those left behind, funeral flowers are a way of commemorating loved ones, but more often people now chose a charity to benefit. If you nominate the Sailors' Society it will ensure much needed funds continue to provide help to seafarers separated from loved ones while they seek to provide better lives for their families at home.
