News:

Sailors’ Society Three Peaks Challenge, sponsored by Cargill.

40 Teams took part in this amazing 24 hour challenge on the weekend of the 21st/22nd June. Climbing Ben Nevis, Helvellyn and Snowdon the teams felt exhilarated at their achievements.

An Award Ceremony was held in the Liverpool Maritime Museum, a fitting location for one of the most prestigious events in the Shipping Calendar. The Society expresses grateful thanks to all those who have sponsored teams.

BBC Radio 4 Appeal with Ben Fogle - gives seafarers a voice

The Sailors’ Society is pleased to announce that Radio 4 is dedicating one of its weekly Broadcast Appeals to the Sailors’ Society. To be aired on Sunday 20th July at 7.55am and 9.26pm and repeated on Thursday 24th July at 3.27pm, the appeal will be heard by several million people.
