95% of world trade is carried by ship. Merchant seafarers are the lifeblood of the world, but they are so often ignored and undervalued.

Seafarers spend so little time in port nowadays, and they lead an incredibly pressured and harsh working life, working long hours and away from home for many months at a time.

Our charity can provide an antidote to the isolation and loneliness they experience. But we need funds to sustain our work and it is becoming increasingly expensive to provide our services.
