A charity pedal though the thriving Port City of Southampton and
surrounding Hampshire countryside

The Deloitte and Sailors' Society Cycle 2008 is a one-day
charity fundraising event. This leisurely bike ride is suitable
for all ages and abilities, from complete beginner to
experienced cyclist. There are three routes to choose from,
meandering through the historical city and rural Hampshire
countryside along main roads and cycle paths.
Join us for a fun family day out. You can ride on your own cycle
or take part in a team. By taking part you will be helping
Southampton-based charity, the Sailors' Society improve the
lives of seafarers and their families around the world.
A leisurely pedal - not a race!
There are three circular routes to choose from, 10 miles, 25
miles and 45 miles. All routes start and finish on the
waterfront at Mayflower Park This is a leisure ride and not a
race. There will be no road closures. However, all three routes
will be clearly marshalled at strategic points, clearly signed
and include a number of water stops (with tea and cakes!)

Institute.

Registration Fees
£15 in advance
£20 on the day
Every cyclist who takes part will receive a t-shirt, goody bag
and medal.
Sponsorship
Cyclists are encouraged to raise sponsorship for this charity
cycle ride. Cyclists who raise over £50 sponsorship will be
entered into a prize draw to win a week's holiday in Devon or
Cornwall courtesy of Hoburnes.
