Our worldwide presence

Our Society maintains a full time presence in many continents around the world; in South America, the Americas (Caribbean), Europe, Eurasia, Asia and Oceania/Australia.

The Sailors’ Society is directly represented in many countries from Brazil in the west through Curacao in the Netherlands Antilles across to northern and eastern Europe, Russia, Ghana, Madagascar, Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean, India, to Indonesia and the Philippines and down to New South Wales, Australia.

Our Sister societies operate independently but also under the banner of the Sailors’ Society in Canada, New Zealand and Southern Africa.

To provide our core service of delivering our mission to seafarers we presently employ 38 qualified Chaplains. They are placed in key ports across the globe where there is the greatest need and where we can deliver our services to the greatest effect. We also employ a number of part-time and honorary Chaplains who supplement our presence.
